The question is, how to add a slash to my home page? Fyi, currently each of my posts and pages url has it.
I manage to change Setting -> General -> site url, but it didnt work out. Every time I hit the submit button to change the site url to www.example.com/, it reversed back to www.example.com.

Note:
I’d change the last section of mod_rewrite.c to :

You don’t want to change what’s in your current htaccess. You want to add your trailing slash rules before any other rules that you have.
