PublishPress Planner
PublishPress Planner helps editorial teams plan, schedule and coordinate WordPress content. I worked across most of its features, contributing 250+ closed pull requests as part of the PublishPress team.
Planning content in several ways
- Content Board: a kanban view organized by status, with workflows for moving content between stages.
- Content Overview: a filterable view of planned content, organized around the information an editorial team needs.
Making the workflow dependable
A calendar, board and overview are different views of the same editorial content. My work includes their shared modals, filters, status controls and permission aware actions, as well as notification reliability and interface fixes.
For example, PR #1896 makes the Calendar, Overview and Board modals omit “Save Changes” when a user cannot edit the post. The change applies consistently across all three views.
Other contributions cover filtering taxonomies by the selected post types, calendar refresh behavior, editorial comment translations, asynchronous notifications and notification-log limits.
