PublishPress Blocks
PublishPress Blocks combines block-editor management tools with extra content blocks. I built the modern administration screens and their features, alongside ongoing Gutenberg, compatibility and maintenance work with the PublishPress team.
My 170+ closed pull requests include administration screens, block management, editor improvements and maintenance.
Administration screens
- Dashboard: feature discovery and access to the block-management tools.
- Block Usage: finding where blocks appear across a site’s content.
- Auto Insert Blocks: inserting reusable content according to placement and content rules.
Editor and frontend behavior
My work also covers how blocks behave after an administrator configures them: editor interactions, saved markup, responsive display and compatibility with WordPress changes. Examples include wide and full-width alignment for Tabs and lazy device detection for Block Controls.
The management screens are registered centrally in the plugin’s admin menu implementation. It defines the screens, their permissions and when they are available.
